Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: September 18, 2026
1. Disconnect a connected service
If you connected an external account (Instagram, Telegram, a CRM, etc.) to a scenario and want to revoke access: disconnect it in your Scriptera account's access settings — the issued access keys are deleted immediately. You can also revoke the app's access on the platform side (e.g. Instagram settings → "Apps and Websites").
2. Delete your account and all data
You can delete the account yourself — on the web and in the app: Account → Profile → the "Delete account" button at the bottom of the page. Sign-in closes right away and the account is deleted in 14 days; all that time you can bring it back by signing in again with the code from your email. The deletion date is sent to you by email.
If you can no longer sign in, email us at support@scriptera.ai from your account email with the subject "Data deletion". We will delete the account and its data within 30 days (backups within 90 days) and confirm by reply.
3. If you messaged a bot built with Scriptera
Subscriber data of scenarios (chat history, contacts) is processed on behalf of the scenario owner. To delete your data, contact the bot owner, or email support@scriptera.ai naming the bot you messaged and your handle — we will delete the data within 30 days.
4. Instagram (Meta) data
Data received via the Meta platform is deleted when the account is disconnected (step 1) or upon request (steps 2–3). Once access is revoked, no new data is received from the platform.
