The bot card and its numbers
What the list card shows, what the bot’s “Analytics” page shows, and how to read the conversion.
A bot’s numbers live in two places: briefly on its card in the “Bots” list, and in full on that bot’s “Analytics” page.
The card in the list
The card shows the name with the network icon to its right, the description from “About” and the folder. The account name has no line of its own — you recognise the account by the card’s avatar. Below, across the full width of the card, is a 7-day chart with two lines: “Runs” in pink and “Contacts” in the colour of the bot’s network, with the line labels and weekly numbers underneath. No runs, no chart. The last line is the “Conversion” for the same 7 days and its state: “On” or “Off”.
Tapping the card opens the numbers for a bot that is on, and the setup wizard for one that is off or still a draft. A bot is turned on or off only from the menu: “⋯” on the site, a long press on the card in the app. Before turning off you are asked “Are you sure you want to turn the bot off?”, so a stray tap does not stop the bot.
The bot’s “Analytics” page
Open it by tapping the card of a bot that is on. The totals for the chosen period sit in the labels above the chart, next to the name of each line.
“Contacts” — how many users completed the bot’s funnel in the period: reached what the bot was made for.
“Conversion” — the share of contacts among runs in the same period. A run is a user who met the bot’s trigger and entered it. 100 runs, 43 contacts — the conversion is 43%.
Above the charts is the period switch. Its buttons depend on how long the bot has been running: a new bot has two (“7 days”, “30 days”), an old one up to five, up to “Year”; the choice is remembered. Below is one chart by day with three lines: “Runs” in grey and “Contacts” in the colour of the bot’s network are in people, “Conversion” in teal is in per cent on its own scale to the right. Tapping a line’s label above the chart hides and shows that line. Above the chart it says which lines these are and the totals for the period. Under the chart is a strip with dates: drag a finger along it and the day with its numbers appears above the chart. A day on the chart is a calendar day by your device’s clock — the same one used by the group headings in the journal below.
The bot’s card in the “Bots” list carries the same 7-day chart labelled “Runs · N” and “Contacts · N”, with the conversion for the same 7 days.
Further down is the log — users, not machinery. Above it is a “Contacts | All” switch: by default only users who completed the funnel are shown; “All” adds everyone who met the bot’s trigger. Each line is a user and the time of the event; lines are grouped by day, with “Show more” at the bottom. Tapping a line opens the conversation with that user in “Chats”.
While the bot has no data yet, “No data yet” stands instead of the chart and the log, with a note that charts will appear after the bot sends its first messages. Below it is what is already known: when the bot was created, when it was launched (if it has been) and which account it works on. In the app and on the site from a phone an “On” switch sits above these rows — it turns the bot on and off just like the “⋯” menu item — and further down you can edit the bot’s name, description, folder and preview right there. With the first runs the page gives way to the chart and the log. Every bot and every message chain looks the same while it has no data.
The “⋯” button at the top right is the same menu as on the bot’s card in the list: turn it on or off, “Edit”, “Duplicate”, “About”, “Share”, delete.
How to read these numbers
- Many users wrote in, low conversion — users arrive but do not reach the gift. Look at the welcome: is the button obvious, are you asking for too much?
- Few runs — the problem is the entry, not the conversation: few users write the code word. Check which posts the bot listens under, and mention the word in your posts.
- Runs but nobody got the gift — users start and drop out. A common cause is the follow check: users cannot be bothered. Try switching it off and compare.
Your account never labels a number “low” or “high”: the figures are shown as they are.
Where else to look
- “Connections” — the account’s numbers (users, messages, reach): “Analytics” in the account card, see Account statistics.
- “Contacts” — the users your bots collected, with tags and their source.
- “Chats” — the conversations themselves: exactly what the bot wrote and what the user replied.
Common questions
The numbers do not match what I see in “Chats”. “Chats” shows every conversation, while “Got the gift” counts only those who reached the goal. They are different figures.
If I delete a bot, do the numbers disappear? The collected contacts and the chats stay. What goes is the bot itself and its numbers page.
The conversion is empty. That happens while nobody has entered the bot yet: there is nothing to divide by.
