Where notifications arrive and how to set them up
Three delivery methods, per-account modes, quiet hours and the “Received” feed.
Notifications should reach you without getting in the way. So you pick how each kind is delivered, and set the hours when your phone stays silent.
It all lives on one page: “Account” → “Notifications”, subtitled “Which notifications you get and where”.
Three delivery methods
| Method | What it is called on screen | Where it arrives |
|---|---|---|
| Phone notification | “Push” | The app on your phone |
| Telegram | “Telegram” | Your linked Telegram |
| “Email” | Your mailbox |
Limits:
- Push works only in the iPhone app (not published yet — push arrives together with it) and only if you allowed notifications in the system. If the permission is off, the row reads “Permission is off in system settings”, and trying to enable it opens an explanation with a button to iPhone settings.
- Telegram is available if Telegram is linked to your account. If it is not, the row reads “Bot not linked”. If you stopped our bot, it reads “Bot stopped — send it ‘Start’”.
- Email is always available: the address comes from your profile.
In the browser the settings offer two methods — “Telegram” and “Email”: there is no “Push” option there, it is set only in the app.
What you can set
The page has a list of rows. The rows have no switches: you tap a row and the settings open inside. On the right, in grey, is how the row is set right now.
“News”
Inside are the delivery checkboxes: “Push”, “Telegram”, “Email” in the app, “Telegram” and “Email” in the browser. Tick what you want: under “Telegram” is the linked account, under “Email” your address.
There is no separate on/off switch: clear all of them and the news stops. The row in the list will then say “Off”.
“Messages”
These are phone notifications only: messages from users have no other delivery method. That is why the setting lives in the iPhone app (not published yet — the setting arrives with it), and in the browser the row is not on the page at all.
The mode, though, is set for each account separately, like app notifications in iPhone settings.
The panel lists your connected accounts, with two special rows above them:
- “All accounts” — apply one mode to every account at once, including ones you connect later. We ask for confirmation.
- “New accounts” — how an account you connect later will be set up; existing ones stay as they are.
Tapping an account opens a choice of three modes:
| Mode | What it means |
|---|---|
| “All chats” | A notification for every new message |
| “Automation off” | A notification only where you reply yourself, not the bot |
| “None” | No notifications from this account |
The current mode is written in grey right in the account row. If accounts differ, the summary row says “Mixed”.
Disconnected accounts stay in the list marked “Disconnected” — you can drop their setting with “Remove from list”.
“Important”
These are broken connections, signing in to your account, sign-in codes and a bot stopped by the guard. The screen puts it plainly: “These always arrive, even during quiet hours. At least one way has to stay on.”
The same checkboxes as for “News”. The last one cannot be cleared: try, and you get an explanation, “Keep at least one way” — with no delivery method at all you simply would not learn that a connection broke.
“Billing”
This row exists only in the browser. It covers payments, renewals, card charges and receipts. There are two methods: “Telegram” and “Email”. Payment messages never come as phone notifications, and the app has no such row.
The last checkbox cannot be cleared: you should hear about money in at least one way. Quiet hours do not hold these messages back.
Quiet hours
A separate row below the list: “Quiet hours”. It is not “what to send” but “when to stay silent”, so it has a block of its own.
Inside:
- the “Do not disturb at night” switch;
- the boundaries, “From” and “Until”;
- “Time zone” — used to tell when your night is.
What stays silent at night: “News” and “Messages” — they wait for the morning in “Received”.
What always arrives: “Important” — breakages and sign-in codes, and “Billing”. Emails arrive at night too: they do not wake you up.
If the time zone has not been detected yet, quiet hours do not work — we have nothing to count night from. The zone is detected at your next sign-in, and you can correct it here or under “Account” → “Language & region”. It is the same setting in two places.
“Received”
The round button in the corner of the Notifications page. It opens the feed of everything we sent you, grouped by day. Unread items are marked with a pink number, and “Mark all read” clears it.
In the app, subscription and payment messages are not shown in this feed and are not counted — they arrive by email and in Telegram.
What exactly arrives for each event: What notifications you get and when.
