Signing up and signing in
Email, a code from the message, and confirming your number through the Telegram bot.
An account ties your bots and conversations to you, not to a device: sign in from your phone or your computer and you see the same thing.
Signing up
The Sign up screen asks for two fields: “Name” and “Email”.
- Fill them in and press “Continue”.
- A five-digit code arrives by email. Type it into the “5-digit code” field and press “Sign in”.
- Next comes the “Confirm your phone” screen. Press “Open the Telegram bot”, tap “Share phone number” in the bot, and come back — the page continues on its own.
If the button did not work, the screen offers a fallback: open the bot by name manually and send it the code shown on the page.
Why we confirm the phone
That is how we filter out automated signups. Without a confirmed number your account does not open. One number means one account: if the number is already linked elsewhere, you will see “This number is already linked to another account”.
Signing in
Scriptera has no passwords. Signing in is always the same: email, then a code from the message.
- Type your email and press “Get code”.
- Type the code from the message.
If you turned on “Confirm sign-in in Telegram” (see Security), we will also ask in Telegram: open the bot and tap “It’s me”.
When something goes wrong
- “This email is not registered.” — no account was created for that address. Check it, or sign up.
- “Wrong or expired code” — codes are short-lived. Press “Resend” and use the new one.
- “Too many attempts. Try later.” — that is the brute-force guard. Wait and repeat.
- No message — check the spam folder and the address; you can change it with “Change email”.
